ALPINE PURSUIT

This event is both challenging in driving and navigation.

Over 400 km's of four wheeling in 3 days of competition.... its highly possible to even expect SNOW.

The event is based on a route that all teams will be doing. Approx 100-150k's per day. It is not a timed event, nor are there any special stage driving challenges..... just good old fashioned challenging four wheel driving and back to basics challenging navigation using your paper map and notes.

 

Competition starts Friday and concludes mid-afternoon with a presentation on the Sunday.

Start from ???? Friday morning and conclude Sunday arvo at ????.

Teams must comprise of 2 vehicles.

If you cannot find another car- we can try to pair you up with one. Contact us if this is the case.

Cost of event is $500 per car ($1,000 per team entry). See details below to what you get for your entry.

Fuel
Will be available on route, no need to carry extra jerry cans. Fuel at ?????? NO LPG available for this event sorry.
Further Costs
No further costs. If you have more than 2 adults per vehicle, all we require are the catering costs, camping fee if applicable ?????? 'see our entry form'.

What I require & can my stock standard 4wd do this event?

  • Basic recovery equipment and a winch is required for BOTH vehicles in your team..
  • Diff locks are not a requirement (but advisable), nor is a roll cage
  • Standard 4wd's will be able to compete as long as you have mud tyres
  • GPS
  • Knowledge of how to navigate and traverse difficult terrain
  • First Aid kit
  • You are paired in a team of 2 cars for a reason. We are able to assist you to our ability, but we are not responsible for your recovery... hence the 2 car teams.

OVER $5,000 in prizes. TROPHIES AWARDED UP TO 3rd PLACE AND MAJOR PRIZES up to 3rd place................
Capped Entries
The event is capped to (15 teams).
